Individuals are now allowed to review their credit reports from each major credit reporting agency
once per year. To do this, call (877)322-8228 or go to
www.annualcreditreport.com
Rather than do all three at once, we suggest you check a different one every 4-5 months. Of
course if you suspect fraud or discover inaccuracies, you might want to check all three sooner.
We suggest avoiding 'quick credit repair' offers. If there is incorrect information, it is better to
work directly through each credit reporting agency according to their instructions. The laws are
in place to protect the consumer against fraudulent activity, If it's wrong, you can fix it but you
need to be patient and persistent. |

|
Northern Redwood Federal Credit Union celebrated its 54th
year in business this last June. The Charter application for the credit union was originally signed
by the 7 charter members on June 3rd, 1955.
The approval by the Bureau of Federal Credit
Unions came on June 14th, 1955.
The Credit Union has been owned by its members and
operated by volunteer officers since 1955. Northern Redwood Federal Credit Union reached several milestones in its 50th year. The credit union reached $15 million dollars in total assets. |
